Beetlemed connects you with an AHPRA-registered Australian doctor by phone for medical advice, prescriptions, certificates or referrals — all online.

No appointments needed. Submit your request online and a doctor will contact you shortly during operating hours.

Most patients are contacted within the hour, subject to availability. During peak periods it may take a little longer — we'll always get to you as soon as possible.

General medical concerns, symptoms, repeat prescriptions, medical certificates, referrals and common conditions suitable for telehealth.

Only if a physical examination is required. Many everyday health concerns can be managed entirely online.

Yes. Beetlemed is available every day of the year — including nights, weekends, and public holidays. There are no after-hours surcharges; you pay the same rate regardless of when you consult.

Beetlemed is available to patients across all Australian states and territories — NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT, and NT. As long as you're in Australia, we can help.
Prescriptions & Referrals

Yes. If clinically appropriate, your prescription will be sent as an electronic script (eScript) via SMS — valid at any pharmacy in Australia.

In most cases, yes. Our doctors can review your medication history and issue a repeat prescription if it is clinically appropriate to do so. Some controlled substances may require an in-person review — your doctor will advise you during the consultation.

eScripts issued by Beetlemed are valid at any registered pharmacy across Australia. You can take the token to your local chemist or use an online pharmacy of your choice.
